On another note, its also hoped that by releasing the 40% build that someone with the 80% build will decide to share their copy with the world as well. At least we'll finally be able to treat ourselves to a classical Resident Evil game. When they are finished, they plan on releasing their game along with the original incomplete build for free. Supposedly, they have acquired a copy of the 40% build (the other known version is the 80%) and are in the process of recreating the content known to be in the 80% build while adding some extra content to make a complete game.

It looks like a mysterious team of modders have successfully obtained one of the much sought after copies of Resident Evil 1.5 (the original version of Resident Evil 2 that was scrapped near completion).
